How does a BGX subscription work?

We send you ONE shipment every TWO months, filled with board games that you pick out.  The number of games in your shipment is based on your subscription level.  You keep the games for at least 60 days, and then send them back using the postage that we provide.  Then we send your next shipment of games.  Simple as that! 

What’s the cost and how many games do I get at a time?

The cost and benefits depend on what subscription level you pick. You can check out our subscription options here.

How long can I keep my games?

There are NO due dates or late charges - keep and play your titles as long as you want.  Keep in mind, you get a maximum of ONE shipment of games every TWO months.  After two months, you can return them for a new set of games at any time.

Can I get extra games if I skipped a shipment?

This isn't a firm rule but generally yes. We want you to get your money's worth, so if you skip a shipment we're generally more than happy to let you get a double batch to make up for it. Game on!

Who Pays Shipping?

All shipping costs are included in your monthly subscription.  When you're ready to return your games, just email us for a return label, and reuse the box they arrived in. The games can be dropped off at any Fedex location.

If I sign up today, when will my subscription start?

As soon as you sign up, you can select your games, and then we get started. You'll generally have your first order within a week, often even less depending on your location.

What do I do if a game is missing pieces upon arrival?

If you get a game with missing pieces, please email  service@boardgameexchange.com right away and tell us what is missing. 

If you can substitute cards or tokens for the missing pieces, please do that and when we get the games back, we will work to complete the games.

In the very rare situation that a game is unplayable when it arrives to you, you may either select an extra game on the next subscription or receive a partial credit on your subscription, we will generally work with you to provide a satisfactory resolution.

Can I request games not currently in our library?

Absolutely, contact us at service@boardgameexchange.com with a list of games you would like to see and we can take this into consideration when making our inventory purchases.

I need a customized package for my [business/event], can BGX help?

YES! We're happy to customize a package for institutional/business customers or special events, including weddings, parties, gaming clubs, corporate events, fundraisers, vacations, and many more (basically, any occasion you can think of).
